Travelling to BerneBerne is easy accessible by train or car, in the center of Switzerland. For a city map: www.bern.ch. By plane you probably fly either to Geneva (www.easyjet.com) or Zürich and take the train. The train costs SFr. 80.- return from either one of the airports. There is a little airport in Bern-Belp. A return bus ride to town costs SFr.28.-. Details at SBB for the railway or at Crossair for BRN Belp-Airport. Once in Bern: Arriving by car: Highway to exit Bern Ostring (Direction Thun). Follow âZentrumÔ straight forward. At the second big round crossing go left for the camping sign and follow through; right for the youthhotel sign for Dampfzentrale. Down after the river you go left towards 'MarziliÔ until you see 'Dampfzentrale'. Arriving by plain: Zuerich and Geneva Airport have trainstations. Two way ticket to Berne cost about 80.- Swiss Francs. Arriving by train: go to the tourist information(ground level). You will get a map and they will show you the way to your hotel or camping. Camping Eichholz: tram 9, direction âWabernÔ till âEichholzÔ Arabelle: bus 12, direction âLŠngasseÔ till âMittelstrasseÔ Glocke: bus 12, direction âSchosshaldeÔ or tram 9 direction âGuisanplatz till âZytgloggeÔ. Arriving to Dampfzentrale: from the big place in front of the train station go south next to the church towards LOEB and UBS bank. Go straight ahead, may be you see Youth Hostel signs or ask people for 'Marzili'. Follow downhill, straight for Marzili and further for Dampfzentrale at Marzilistrasse 47: www.dampfzentrale.ch
